Today, in class a boy’s phone rang, and the teacher had to take it because of school rules. We’ve been learning about the Parlimentary procedure, and when ever we want to do something we have to stand, make it a motion and vote on it. I am upset today, as I was yesterday. Perhaps my boyfriend missed me, but after only spending one day with me instead of the normal 2 and a half, he decided he did not miss me as much as usual. Maybe that is why I only saw him for 18 hours and he is now sitting at his family’s house instead of here with me. It is not right for me to be jealous of someone’s family. But that is not the case. I am merely upset that I have not seen my boyfriend in 2 and a half weeks, and after a long awaited visit, he only comes for one day.

Whatever. I don’t think that makes me a selfish person.

Today, after attending a wake for a friend’s sister, I realized that the best things I ever heard said about her were said after her death. No one really knew her greatest moments until it was too late. Many of us live our entire lives never knowing how people really feel about us. MMT
